Can you believe we’re less than two weeks away from MINECON Live, our massive livestream celebration of all things Minecraft? Frankly, I can’t believe it, and have spent all morning yelling at my calendar in disbelief. How can we possibly be just 12 days away from a livestream packed with new announcements, this quality quartet, and the big reveal of the next update to Minecraft?

As for voting for your favourite biome, you’ll have to tune in live to MINECON Live (oh so that’s why we called it that) on September 28 at 12pm EST. You’ll be able to watch MINECON Live on Mixer, Twitch, YouTube, Facebook and a little site called minecraft.net(which, in my completely unbiased opinion, would be the perfect place to watch it).

一年更一个生态群系有点挤牙膏，可以更二十年，每年都能靠发起推特投票维持话题性。
不过Java 1.14版本作为史上最糟糕服务端性能让我觉得短期内（一两年内）最有价值的更新还是重构和优化。如果愿意优化，填充内容的事就算暂时放一边也可以谅解。
有一种阴谋论是微软故意赶人去玩基岩版，不会优化Java版，可不可信我们接着观察吧。

确实会更新的，只是让玩家投票决定先后顺序而已
不是说好把去年三个都更新完再更新别的吗,这才更了一个针叶林啊,沙漠和草原呢

同意你的想法，生物群系更新确实可以增加热度和玩家粘性；而1.14服务端的反向优化真的很恐怖。
刚刚开始碰1.14服务器的时候，我按照之前的优化配置开服，结果本应该承载20人都不卡的服务器在新周目当天崩溃数次（在线玩家不超过5人），几乎每次崩溃都导致服务器后台短时间内无法连接（低配置私服，怀疑是JVM吃光了CPU和内存）。

对于大多数玩家来说，服务器管理员压力变大其实和自己没什么关系，玩家最在意的其实是游戏体验（虽说其中包括游戏流畅与否），增加新的内容，无论是否让大众关注，无论会给服务器管理员带来怎样的压力，无论会添加多少新特性，对于一个游戏来说，都是维持生命力所必需的；让玩家保持新鲜感和好奇心，个人认为，是mojang工作室做这些更新的主要考量。

微软压根就不管Java版。。。主要是mojang那帮员工自从notch走后把代码写的越来越乱（据说是某个特殊写法忘了加注释然后。。。）
能给个链接吗？

个人觉得与其这样动不动修BUG、小更新一下，不如就来个官方JAVA版商店，同基岩版可以给创作者上架的平台更好。
