When we last strolled Around the Block, we visited the Nether Wastes . Not a particularly nice place to hang out, if I’m being honest! So let’s give ourselves a little holiday, and take a trip somewhere completely different. Today, the flower forest is our biome of the week!
上次的群系漫游，我们去了下界荒地。说实话，那里真不怎么样！今天让我们来点不一样的旅途，好好休息一下。这一周，我们的群系是繁花森林！
Flowers were one of the earliest additions to Minecraft, way back in June 2009. Forests were added in October 2010. But it wasn’t until the release of The Update that Changed the World in October 2013 that two became one and the flower forest was born.
花早在 2009 年 6 月就加入了 Minecraft，是最早被加入游戏的元素之一。2010 年 10 月，森林被加入游戏。但直到 2013 年 10 月改变世界的更新正式发布，它们俩才合二为一、造就了繁花森林。
You’ll know when you’re strolling through a flower forest. It’s a little less dense than a regular forest, but there are huge numbers of flowers spreading across the landscape. The fertility of the ground also means that large oaks are more common in this biome than in regular forests.
漫步于繁花森林时你会发现，这里相较于普通森林树木更为稀少，然而景色中遍地皆是似锦繁花。肥沃的土壤同时孕育出了比普通森林更多的巨型橡树。
Almost every kind of Minecraft flower can be found in a flower forest, making them a great place to visit if you’re trying to fill out your garden or collect dyes. The exceptions are sunflowers (found in plains), blue orchids (found in swamps), and wither roses (created when a Wither kills a mob).
除了生长在平原的向日葵、生长在沼泽的兰花和凋灵击杀生物时生成的凋灵玫瑰，繁花森林里涵盖了 Minecraft 中所有种类的花。所以若是要采花装点花园或是制作染料，这里会是你的不二选择。
Flower forests are a pretty good place to set up a home. They’re reasonably safe, there’s plenty of building material and beautiful views. Sheep, pigs, chickens, cows, and rabbits are common, and you’ll also find bees and bee nests among the trees.
繁花森林相对安全，也从不缺少建筑材料与美丽的景致，因此这里十分宜居。这里有成群的牛羊、鸡兔和猪，还能发现穿梭于树木间的蜜蜂和它们的巢穴。
Beware when night falls, though, because you’ll need to deal with the usual suspects – spiders, zombies, skeletons, creepers, as well as the occasional Enderman and witch. A fence around your property, along with good lighting, is essential for keeping these foes at bay.

In the real world, there are many wildflowers that grow in woodland areas. Depending on the season, you might find bluebells, blueberries, blue cornflowers, and plenty of other flowers that aren’t blue. In fact, woodland tends to be home to some of the rarest flowering plants, because they’re harder to spot amongst the foliage.
现实世界中，许多野花都生长于林地。你可能会发现蓝色风铃草、蓝莓、蓝色矢车菊以及大量蓝色以外的花，取决于时令。事实上，许多珍稀花卉都倾向于在林地安家，这里的枝繁叶茂是它们天然的掩护。
