THIS IS IN THE 2.0 BETA VERSION.
It's a testing version so it's just for who wants to try the new feature of the plugin.
If you have problems just downgrade to the previous version and delete the config.yml file.


1. Open the NewItems folder in Plugins. Open the file customItems.yml


2. Copy one of the example of NewItems and paste it at the bottom of the file.


3. Change the text "item<number>:" with the last item number+1 (as you can see in the pic)


4. Now you can edit the name, permission and other variables of the item.


5. Now open the config.yml file in Plugins/NewItems folder, copy the resource-pack-link , open your browser, paste the link and download the file.



6. Extract the file in a folder in your Desktop and open the folder "templatesForCustomItems".


7. Copy the template file you need (for example we are creating a block).


8. Click on the shortcut called "PUT CUSTOM ITEMS .json files HERE" and paste the "block_template.json" file there.




9. Rename the file like in the step 3 of this guide.


10. Open paint (if you need to create a texture) and create a pic of 16x16 or multiples of 16 and save it.


11. Click on the shortcut called "PUT CUSTOM ITEMS texture files HERE"


12. Paste the texture file in this folder and rename it as you like.


13. Now click the shortcut called "PUT CUSTOM ITEMS .json files HERE".


14. Open the NewItem file you created in the step 9 of this tutorial.

15.Edit the texture info with the name of the texture you set in the step 12 of this tutorial.


16. Now just zip the content of you folder like in this pic.


17. Upload the zip file on dropbox.com

18. Click on the share button of the file


19. Create a link clicking on the button and copy it


20. Now open the config.yml file in Plugins/NewItems folder, replace the resource-pack-link with your new one.


21. Now replace the last "0" character of the link with a "1" and increment the resource-pack-version field (DO THIS ON EVERY UPDATE OF YOUR ITEMS).


22. Now restart your server.

23. Use /ni command and click on the icon of the enchanted workbench,.


24. Select the NewItems you have just created and check the recipe.



25. Now craft it (or use /niget <item<number>> for example /niget item8) and place it! Have fun!
