Hello! Sorry I didn't reply to this thread earlier, I was asleep.
I announced that I had decided to leave the Minecraft team some months ago, and this was just a reminder to that one person who wanted minecraft stuff from me.
The smiley face was a smiley face, it doesn't need too much reading into. I like smiley faces.
I still work for Mojang. I am still currently working on a Minecraft related thing - rewriting the launcher in c++. This will be done soon and then I'm moving on to a non-minecraft related project, still at Mojang.
