摘要

自JE 1.14版本中珍珠超传被修复以来,前往世界边境对普通玩家来说都是一个相当困难的任务,即使是在物资储备及其完备的情况下也几乎不可能在24小时内完成。而且,前往边境的过程中沿途区块的生成也会导致存档极度臃肿,为后续的备份、升级等维护工作带来了较大的困难。

2020年前后,弱加载珍珠炮技术开始流行,为自动化前往世界边境提供了一个基本思路。但是,由于末影珍珠本身特性的限制,这类珍珠炮仍需要玩家先到达世界边境建立区块加载器,而且并未完美地解决沿途区块生成等问题。

为了为普通玩家提供一个经济可行的前方世界边境的方案,本文给出了几种不生成沿途区块的边境炮设计。这些边境炮主要利用了弱加载技术以实现高速推进,同时结合了Minecraft中多种不能加载沿途区块的实体移动方式以减少存档体积增量与卡顿时长。尽管在目前的思路下斜向的长距离移动仍因原版优化欠佳而极度卡慢,但文中给出的设计仍有希望为百万米级的超远程交通提供明显的便利。

Abstract

Since the exponential teleportation using ender pearls was fixed in Minecraft JE 1.14, it has been an extremely hard task for ordinary players to reach the world border, which is nearly impossible to be done within 24 hours even if all items are sufficient. Moreover, the generation of chunks along the way makes the  save unbelieveably large, leading to great difficulties in subsequent backuping and upgrading tasks.

Around 2020, lazy loading pearl cannons became popular, which provides us a  basic idea on the automaticalization of world border travels. However, due to the limitation of the ender pearl itself, these cannons still require players to get to the border to build chunk loaders at first, and problems like redunant chunk generation are not resolved perfectly.

Aiming at offering oridinary players an economical and practical solution to reach the world border, several designs of world border cannon are included in this essay. In these cannons, lazy loading technologies are used to realize quick acceleration, while various methods are employed to move entities without loading chunks to reduce the increase in the size of saves and the length of lags. Although long-distance diagonal movements cause major lags as a result of the poor optimization of vanilla Minecraft, these designs may  hopefully make millions-blocks-long traveling significantly more convenient.
