2022 might be coming to an end, but it is doing so in style as the Minecraft Marketplace New Year’s Celebration is in full swing. Every Tuesday until January 17, you can jump into five free adventures, the first of which is available to download today. For the first one, we’re smug proud to present you a smorgasbord of the Marketplace’s most beloved content: Lucky’s Minigame Mayhem* from Logdotzip .

“It was designed from the ground up to create an experience that includes all the most exciting and most downloaded content on the platform while still being neatly presented through a fun, unique storyline,” says Logdotzip. “We love that all players of any playstyle will get to experience a slice of the most popular game modes the Minecraft Marketplace has to offer.”

Lucky’s Minigame Mayhem* is filled with challenges that put your Minecraft skills to the test by combining 15 different activities – some of which you might recognize! You can tackle these solo, but it’s recommended to bring a friend or two for a more competitive wholesome experience. After all, the unwritten rule of mini-games clearly states (it’s in the fine print, don’t worry about it) that they’re best enjoyed in good company.

Despite including widely different mini-games, the team worked hard when they designed the world to ensure that the various areas of the map all felt detailed and interconnected to give even more life to the environment you'll be experiencing.

“We were very excited to employ some cutting-edge technical elements to allow for unique scoring, collectibles, and life systems,” Logdotzip adds. “It’s complicated work figuring out how to allow players to do things as sweet as skateboard tricks, or as scary as becoming a warden. We also used a vast amount of character-driven voice acting talent to really bring it all together.”
