Listen, my bosses at Minecraft HQ would put me in Minejail if they heard me saying this, so I have to be quick: it's okay to admit that sometimes, we can get a little bored of Minecraft. The way I play it is to be absolutely intensely obsessed with it for months at a time, then let it collect dust for a few months, and repeat. I'm always either building a gigantic castle in the shape of my face, or slowly forgetting how to use a pickaxe – and I know I'm not the only one who plays Minecraft this way!

It's not a good idea for doing in real life, obviously – unless you really like eating berries and not using a toilet – but in Minecraft, sometimes the best thing you can do is start over.
