It’s time for another fan art roundup! Kicking off our collection today, Sweetrose236 remarked on Twitter following the flurry of announcements during Minecraft Live, “I take it as canon that Steve likes cute things more than Alex.” We haven’t gotten confirmation about that particular fact, but Sweetrose236’s picture captures our feelings about the upcoming axolotl succinctly with Steve’s delight and Alex’s intrigued expression.

Naturally, the axolotl isn’t the only mob we’ll be encountering in the future as we explore the mysteries of these upgraded biomes. We also got our first glimpse at the Warden, a brand new hostile mob lurking within the caves, and it was inspiring! (And scary . But mostly inspiring.)
