First,Let me to have sth. to say:HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!!!!!

I discovered that the nearest fortress is too far from the place where my potrol stand!!!!!!It's almost six-hundred blocks,and the most of the distance is full of neither rocks and lava!
So I made the decision to "go deeper".
I prepared many stones and wood,to get through of it.
(Because my shader had something wrong,I turned it off until I got to the overworld)
ΔThe idiot who wanted to block my way
But hey...What are you doing,guy?How dare you block my way!Don't you see my bloody axe and your mates' body?

But I finally knew how week I am...
I didn't have strong armor and weapons to arms myself from deadly hoglins...
(Although I killed one to increase 16 level by using the last two arrows)
I realized I should got a max-leveled enchanting table,but I didn't have enough leather and diamonds.Actrually,I didn't have any cow at that time.
So I decided to get some.
ΔThe first cow I caught
ΔFinally,the last cow got its place.
Also,I need a diamond——Only one,but more is better.
I decided to dig.I didn't find any diamond,but...
ΔThe garbages I dig.
But iron ingots and flints is okay :)
Questions:
1.What's the underlined word mean?

B.A dark,sharp and shiny stone.

iron ignots and flints are okay.我记得是are，而且是ignots，不是ingots吧，I don‘t have …… and weapons to arm myself，不是arms（我语法也不是很好，有错请指出）

编辑过程中把iron ingots 和flints前的数字去掉了，然后不知道为啥手欠把are改了
但铁锭确实是iron ingot。
至于arm...教材和字典例句都是arms，但我忘了前面的单三
